Antony Christie

Antony Christie is an Irish-Canadian poet based mainly in Northumberland, England and Grey County, Ontario. He spends his time being creative with wood, stone, mortar, words and historical research. He also travels widely when he has time.

His poetry has been published in magazines in England, Ireland and Canada, including The Antigonish Review, Fiddlehead, Other Poetry, Prairie Fire, Grain, Envoi, Poetry Ireland Review and Smiths Knoll, in three pamphlets, three full-length collections and several anthologies.

He has given many public readings of his work, most recently at the last Ontario Wordstock Collingwood Festival, at StAnza Poetry Festival in Scotland, and at the Kendal Poetry Festival in England. He appreciates the buzz of a live audience. Martha Lucas is his fourth full collection.
